Hedingham Castle is an unforgettable wedding venue in Essex for all styles of celebration. When you marry at Hedingham, we are exclusively yours, hosting personalised weddings as individual as the couple at the heart of them.

Our unique venue is the most romantic in the country and comprises a 900-year-old Norman Keep, a grand Georgian Country House and an elegant Ballroom Marquee, all set within 160 acres of private gardens and woodland.
Ceremonies take place in the Banqueting Hall of the Castle, under the grand double height archway and lit with a myriad of candles. Alternatively, outdoor ceremonies are also available, on the lawns overlooking the lake.
Receptions can either take place in the Georgian House and Ballroom Marquee, or for more intimate weddings, you can host your whole day in the Castle: dine in the atmospheric Tapestry Room then continue with drinks and dancing on the Garrison Floor above. Whatever you decide, it is sure to be the most magical experience from start to finish.
