  • “We stayed in the new Royal Chamber within the castle [on our wedding night], the bed was so comfortable and everything in the room has been so well thought-out and looks so in keeping with the castle. The breakfast and tea within the room was delicious especially the cinnamon buns!”

  • "We had a great experience. It was so much fun. The little touches in the room were lovely…it is such an amazing place to stay. Something a bit different. I really would recommend this lavish jaunt to anybody. Thank you for making us feel so special."

  • "Ken and I just wanted to thank you and the team very much indeed for a truly fabulous experience at the Castle last week. Everything lived up to my expectations and exceeded it, actually! The privacy, the atmosphere, the lighting, the facilities, the way the Castle has been ‘modernised’ yet kept completely within keeping of an ancient monument, allowed us to really imagine what life was like there over the ages. We had the chance to enjoy walking around the grounds too and the icing on the cake was the fortuitous opportunity to meet Mr Lindsay as we were leaving, who also kindly allowed us to view his private terrace, gardens and magnificent views over the lake. The memories will last a good long while, it was a privilege – thank you!"

  • "We had the use of the whole castle and grounds. It’s a magnificent building that’s been restored with love and care. Every detail was taken care of. If you are looking for that one off unique over night stay we cannot recommend it enough."
